Actress Jenny Slate had a lot to say to The Guardian during her interview on June 18. She’d like everyone to know that the current state of affairs in America is “really an emergency.”
While Barbara Ellen asked the questions, Jenny Slate gave just the right answers, recited from the same old liberal catechism. Trump bad, abortion good, Planned Parenthood great.
When asked what her fame was good for, Slate responded with, “I have enough people following me on Twitter that if I want to support Planned Parenthood or say: ‘We have to impeach our president because he’s a criminal,’ I can reach people. That’s wonderful.”
Wow. She admitted to supporting Planned Parenthood, thinking Donald Trump is a criminal, and spewing liberal propaganda on her Twitter account. The left must love her.
It gets better. Slate followed up this statement with: “everybody should be speaking out because what’s going on is terrifying and despicable. It’s really an emergency.”
The party she likes didn’t get elected and it’s an emergency in her eyes? Apparently so. One has to wonder what she thinks of real emergencies, like terror attacks and mass shootings. When someone disagrees with Jenny Slate, it must be a real emergency.
She went on to slam Ivanka Trump, reiterating a statement she put out on her twitter account in May. Slate told The Guardian, “Ivanka Trump is a fake feminist who will go down in history as someone who really betrayed human beings and who should be ashamed of herself.” This is not as extreme as a statement she made concerning Ivanka Trump over Twitter, calling the POTUS’s daughter a “foaming poison hell turd.” But it comes close.
Slate also addressed her controversial 2014 film, “Obvious Child,” which had a plot that blatantly celebrated abortion. After Barbara Ellen asked her about the pro-life reaction, Slate responded with, “we don’t call them pro-life, we call them anti-choice: people who don’t want women…
