SummerFest, volcano sharks and an elephant

The summer is flying by! We’re wrapping up July and gearing up for August and the fall semester to come. But before we do, let’s take a look back and enjoy some of our favorite FIU moments and images from the month, captured by FIU photographers.

FIU’s Mike Heithaus, marine scientist and dean of the College of Arts, Sciences & Education, starred in Devil Sharks, which aired July 26 during Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.
