NEWARK – Licking Memorial Health Systems has announced several recent hires.
Certified Nurse Pracitioner Melissa B. Clevenger has started with Licking Memorial Family Practice of Granville. She has an associate’s degree in nursing from Rhodes State College in Lima and a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from Ohio State University College of Nursing.
Dr. Richard D. Kennedy is with Licking Memorial Family Practice of Hebron. He has a medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton and completed a family practice residency at Mount Carmel Family Medicine in Columbus. He completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Bennie R. Upchurch III has joined Licking Memorial Gastroenterology. He has a medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, and completed an internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He did a gastroenterology fellowship at Ohio State University School of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus.
Dr. Bradley R. Lawson has joined Licking Memorial Otolaryngology. He has a doctorate of medicine from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. A residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery was completed at University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, Arkansas and fellowship training in thyroid and parathyroid surgery was done at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Certified Physician Assistant Anthony D’Amico has been added to Licking Memorial Orthopedic Surgery. He has a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Kettering College.
