They’re taking the country by storm – and there is a new massive indoor adventure hub where you can jump about and go crazy in Devon.
The £1.2million urban activity centre, Adrenalin Leisure, is based within is the former press hall of The Plymouth Herald’s old home, The Ship, at Derriford.
It boasts a trampoline park and ninja course – but there’s plenty for all the family to do.
And The Plymouth Herald decided to pop along and try out its features – from giant foam sticks to climbing walls and wobbly ladders – to see what all the fuss was about.
Speaking to The Herald’s Lauren Haly as she experienced the thrill of Adrenalin, assistant manager Rachel Cox said: “A lot of people know we’re here, but there’s lots of things we do that people may not know about.
“We don’t only have the trampoline park and the ninja course.”
The centre is now offering sessions for under 5’s, holds birthday parties and recently opened a fully equipped gym.
‘Mini adrenalin’ sessions are running daily during the school break.
Rachel said: “We welcome our smaller guests to have a free range of the park and they can dress up in fancy dress costumes, play with extra toys and go on the trampoline equipment.”
Every Friday, the centre is running a ‘adrenalin extreme family disco’ – which anyone over the age of five can enjoy.
“We put the disco lights on, turn the music up, take song requests and have a big party every Friday night”, Rachel said.
A multi-sports club can now be enjoyed by anyone between the ages of 5-15 with sessions starting at £7 for an hour.
The centre isn’t just to be enjoyed by children.
