Caleb Swanigan and the Portland Trail Blazers are set to take on Kyle Kuzma and the Los Angeles Lakers in Monday’s championship game for the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Swanigan enters averaging 14.9 points and 10.4 rebounds, leading the Blazers in both categories. He’ll likely need another big outing for Portland to pull out the victory.

L.A., meanwhile, will be without Vegas assists leader Lonzo Ball, who’ll miss Monday’s finale with a sore calf. That means Kuzma, the summer Lakers’ leading scorer, will have to carry an even bigger load. He’s been more than up to the task in his role prior to Monday, averaging 20.5 points and shooting 45 percent from three. With how efficient he’s been, he should be able to handle a little more responsibility.
