Biggs High School’s Athletic Department Top Senior Athletes – News – Taft Midway Driller – Taft, CA

Biggs High School’s Athletic Department selected the Top Senior Athletes for their dedication and commitment to being an overall exceptional athlete. Over their high school career all 5 seniors done a fabulous job of representing themselves, our school, and community. They’ve done this by displaying positive characteristics on and off the field. In Biggs, our students are involved in many programs and being able to successfully balance it all, including being an academic athlete; all these attributes are embedded in these student athletes and most importantly they’ve proved that they’ve learned that character transpires throughout all you do. For this, Biggs High School is honored to represent the following Top Senior Athletes. 

1 Eloy Ibarra- was a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams for all four years. Eloy received All League for football this year, was an athlete of the week for Gridley Herald, and assisted his team in being the Division 5 champions and on to state playoffs. Eloy was BHS MVP his sophomore, junior and senior year for basketball and helped his our team to be the Mountain Valley League champions. He’s received many all tourneys and tournament MVP. All league his junior year and the MVP for the mountain league for basketball this year. He played in the basketball Lion’s All Star game. Eloy threw a no hitter during his senior night baseball game striking out 10 batters. Eloys plans after high school are to play junior college baseball.

2 Lukini Lualemana- played football and basketball for all four years and baseball for one year. Lukini assisted his team this year to be the MVL basketball champions and was awarded all league. For football this year Lukini was awarded multiple player of the weeks for the Gridley Herald, was team captain, awarded all league and league MVP, he also helped our team to be the Division 5 champions and on to state playoffs.
