Adrian, which lost to Springfield on Friday in its initial game in the tournament, will next take on Wabasso in the double-elimination event. That matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday.
Luverne, meanwhile, followed up its first-round victory on Friday with a Saturday triumph before a setback Sunday sent it into the losers’ bracket. Luverne will face the Adrian vs. Wabasso winner at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Jackson, which also won its first-round game, was defeated Saturday and Sunday and is now out of the tournament.
Adrian 4, Windom 0
Adrian 5, Winnebago/Blue Earth 4
Jake Stammer hurled a complete-game shutout as Adrian eliminated Windom in its Saturday game. Stammer allowed five hits and struck out four while hitting two Windom batters.

Brent Hokeness would also reach on a defensive miscue, and a Zach Hendel single made it a 4-2 ballgame. With two outs, Jeffery Cowels singled and Rogers delivered a bases-loaded hit to trim the deficit to 4-3.
