70-year-old woman found dead, bound by electrical cord

Cops are investigating the suspicious death of a 70-year-old woman from Brooklyn whose body was found inside her home Monday — with her legs bound by an electrical cord, sources said.

The victim, who was identified by family and friends as Noreen Mulzac, of Canarsie, was discovered by her daughter at around 2:30 p.m., according to a police source.

“But having a detective come and question me — it must be a homicide,” he said. “I was blown away…It’s very tragic. She was very nice and very pleasant, I never saw her Ill tempered.”

The circumstances surrounding Mulzac’s death remained a mystery on Monday night.

Cops were still waiting for the Medical Examiner to determine a cause as of 8 p.m., the police source said.

Friends described Mulzac as a great person who immigrated from Trinidad and worked as a nurse with the developmentally disabled.

“She’s a very nice lady,” said Dwhyte Drysdale, who rents from Mulzac. “She was like a mom to us. Anything that we asked her she was always willing to give to us. This is hard. I was at work and my brother called and said somebody told him that she got killed.”

Veronica Franklin, who worked with Mulzac and knew her for 25 years, said she had just spoke to her last week — and that everything seemed fine.

“I spoke…
