Northeast women’s soccer signs another recruit

Courtesy/Northeast Community College NORFOLK – The women’s soccer program at Northeast Community College has landed a recruit from Pierce. Emily Simmons has signed to play with the Hawks this fall. Simmons has played club soccer for ten years. At Pierce High School, she lettered in volleyball and track and also earned Academic All-State honors in volleyball. Simmons has succeeded in the classroom as well, earning a spot on the principal’s honor roll all four years of high school and lettering in speech and play production. Rwanda to host Africa aviation summit

KIGALI. – Rwanda is ready to host the Aviation Africa 2017 forum scheduled for next month in Kigali, according to the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA). The high-level meeting and exhibition slated from February 22 to 23 will focus on all aspects of the aviation industry including maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), business aviation, defence and commercial aviation. He was 88. A three-year letterwinner (1949-51) under Clarence “Biggie” Munn, Coleman helped guide MSU to a 9-0 record in 1951, winning the Spartans’ first national championship on the gridiron.
